Post Warranty

Does anyone know if adding,a Flowmaster voids the manufacturers warranty?I have heard both,that it does and does not,any info would be greatly appreciated.

No. According to the warranty guide, your exhaust is only warranted from the exhaust manifolds to the cats, after that it's open season. That's why we see all of these cat-back systems, they don't fool with the emissions and they don't void the warranty.

Ford man, where can I get a warranty guide (is it with my owner's mannual) I like to have as much info as possible, when I need it so the dealership does not try to mess with me.

Mine was in the glove box of my pickup when I bought it. I guess hit the dealer up for one if you don't have it. It's a separate publication from the owner's manual.
