I checked out the "New Era Exhaust" a couple of months ago. Spoke with someone there and questioned them about the "special". Seems to be a good deal, but do make sure that you order the universal hangers, they don't automatically come with the F150 exhaust kit. I must add that the proprietor of that business did not sound very enthusiastic when I spoke to him, maybe he was having a bad hair day....that compelled me to not place the order, wasn't sure if I was going to recieve what I was planning to order...

A F150 member named "Deputy" did post that he ordered the F150 kit, after a long wait, he did receive it and mount the system on his truck. Seemed that he was satisfied with it....

-kindest regards

If your handy and have all the proper tools Mikes special could save you a few dollars..However my dual out system is about the same cost $180 installed from local muffler shop. What about hangers, clamps, welder, labor, warrenty ect.. In the right area's I think the local shop is the better deal.. What do you think?

Question

Good comments/feedback... I will be checking out the locals to compare. Hangers, S&H, fit/finish, warranty etc may be the difference.

I paid $185 at a local shop and it took about one hour for installation. I replaced stock unit with dual outlet model with slightly louder sound than stock. Good money spent in converting to duals!!!
