Question Bassani Cat Back Exhaust

I was wondering if anyone has purchased the Bassani cat back system, or knows anyone who has one. I am interested in purchasing this system, but would like some oppinions on this system first.
I had a pair of Bassani headers on my 93 Lightning, and was very happy with them, but have no experience with there cat back systems. http://www.bassani.com

Current Truck 1999 F-150 4.6V8 4x4 short bed/regular cab. White with Blue two tone paint, and Blue Captain chairs. so far only mod is a K & N filter

Well I purchased the Bassani cat back system.Since I had there headers in my 93 Lightning, and was impressed with the quality of there products.
I hope the $ 400.00 I paid for the system is worth it. But here in New England I feel it is worth the extra to get a full stainless steel system.
I will let you know how it works, It should be fairly quiet since it is a 24" muffler.

I got my new exhaust put on today It is great except between 1800-2200 rpms, which is where I drive on the highway. At these rpms it is loud, and very deep sounding.I have a call into Bassani, we will see what they say. They told me it would be quiet on the highway, but that is the only place it is loud.
the exhaust looks awsome, big and beefy, and a cool tip. The place I bought it from, said what I experienced is unusual, maybee a defective muffler.
I'll let you all know how I make out.

UPDATE 11/21/99
It seems to be getting quieter on the highway, I guess it just took a while for the computer to get used to the new exhaust.
I did about 90 miles the first day, but maybee it just needed some more driving for the computer to adjust.Yesturday I went out shopping, after starting the truck a half dozzen times or so, seems to be much better. I think I like it now.

Hi Don C.
Met you at Lou's Custom Exhaust on 11-19-99. Had the Flowmaster 50 series exhaust with duals out the back with 3 1/2 inch tips installed and noticed the same problem you did at 1800 - 2200 rpm's. Fairly quiet at idle, but when you are cruising on the highway, it seemed pretty loud. Love the deep and throaty sound when you step on it though!! The more I drive it now, the quieter it seems to be getting. Maybe we are just getting used to it!! Good luck with your Bassani!!
