I just wanted to let you all know that the 2000 with the 5.4L engine has a different diameter exhaust. the first time I looked at it I thought it maybe was 2.75", but when it was up on the rack ,getting duals put on, the muffler guy said it was a different size other than 2.75",its smaller (OD), but bigger than 2.50" (OD), this could be a problem for all that are putting on their own cat back systems.
I believe the 99s had a 2.5 exhaust, cause the man at the shop said he'd never seen this size before.
So anyone ordering a cat system for a 2000 with 5.4, check out the diameter change if your clamping one on, could turn into a real headache.....Take Care
