Thanks Cloaker, I'll disconnect the battery this weekend.
I simply put a turbo muffler on to see if I would notice any difference in the engine and to see if it would sound any better.
When I first put it on it seemed to make the engine stumble a little at WOT but that seems to have been self resolving and the performance gains came in the area of a quicker increase in RPM and top end speed with the sacrifice of a little loss in torque.I may try a catback but I am still undecided as to which is the best.

Question Computer chip/exhaust Mods?

After installing any exhaust system mods does the computer need to relearn that the engine is now breathing better? What sensor/s on a non MAF equipped engine could be responsible for this new information the computer receives? Could it be the MAP sensor?

if you unplug your battery for 30-60 minutes, you force your computer to start over fresh, which will force it to relearn everything. It probably won't hurt and only help.

I was wondering the same thing, but with the superchip. I thought I had posted the question, but can't find it anymore to see a reply. I am looking into a cat back system now.
