A question about the standard exhaust
I am just curious as to why Ford put the exhaust coming out in front of the rear wheel in '98 (I believe) and then moved it back in '99. If anyone can shed some light on this I would appricate it..

In 97 the trucks had the exhaust in front of the rear wheel. They corected that in 98.
I would say they did it to save $$$.

People were complainging about the wheel/lug nuts cover turning green from the exhaust. There is a TSB for the 97's to have the exhaust changed to exit to the rear of the wheel (I don't have the number but the dealer does).
