mike150. I installed the gibson 3" cat-back first then I changed the muffler. I noticed when I changed the muffler I lost some low end power. The gibson was great but a little to quite.

What muffler did you use to replace the Gibson?

Thanks Henry Ellal. The muffler I have on it sounds very good on the 4.2 and flows well but would like to get some more low end grunt.

cruzer. Used a muffler from summit racing equipment, #sum-630330. has a little drone at certain rpm's but it does sound good. the slight loss in low end torque was worth it.

Henry,

Thanks for the info. I have a 3" Gibson and I'm planning to change the muffler. The performance is good, just not enough rumble.

I am looking into a Gibson cat-back also. I was wondering if anyone has put on the dual-sport truck and does it work with the 1999 supercab 4x4 w/ORP? Someone told me I might have problems installing it. Can someone help me? Thanks...
