I read on a forum message (somewhere?) that the 2001 Excursion needs a #899 fog light bulb. For what it's worth - on my Limited anyway- you need 9145's to replace the stock ones. Replacement is really VERY simple; even though it looks like it'd be a real b**ch! E-mail me if you need help thetrop@netins.net
