01 Excursion Limited 5.4L - Just performed my 250 K miles service. (Actual mileage 250,278 mi.) Started using Mobile 1 high mileage oil this change. Previously I had been using regular Mobile 1 5W-20. Excursion has original, brakes. hoses and belt. I have replaced the AC compressor twice (I do live in SC and it gets a lot of use.) and the rear AC system TXV once. Have replaced several COPs on an as needed basis and had to install one Timesert at 78K miles. About 85-90% of the mileage was interstate driving. I have performed all of the repairs and maintenance on the Ex personally. It has never been touched by anyone else except for the brake fuse recall and tire rotations and alignments. I have been in most states including Alaska. I have also been in Nova Scotia and ferried the EX to Newfoundland.
This 5.4 engine has been a gem. I hope to get many more miles out of it.

 

Sounds Great! My 02 F150 is just broken in at 145k miles I suppose.
