Front Axle Ratio question
 

Hey,

I bought a 2001 excursion 5.4l 4x4 and need to rebuild the front differential.

Door code: C2 4.10 LS axle

I have read this is a Dana 50 4.10 ls and cannot fond parts for it anythwere! its like it never existed! Plenty of crap for dana 60 9.75 gears... and some 3.73 dana 50 stuff but no 4.10...

anyone help with some info?

Tore it apart today and the pinion is eating away at the carrier... fun

These numbers are on the ring gear: 056 11 18 00 DANA T62048 1F 8L380 41-10

Any idiot knows the 41-10 is 41 teeth ring gear 10 tooth pinion....41/10=4.10 ratio.

What do the other numbers mean? They are stamped into the ring gear
