I am looking to buy a 2001 Excursion XLT Premium with the 7.3 Liter powerstroke/ It has only 13k miles on it with a year factory warrenty left and the dealer is asking $26900. The color is red metallic over gray. It has a VCR and DVD system with remote control. The car is in good shape and drives like a dream. Given the fact that the Excursion is to disontinued I would like to find out if yuo guys think it to be a good deal or that the price is on the high side. What do you think will happen to trade-in values on a couple of years? Is there going to be a follow-up for the Excursion?

I would have to guess a 2001 in a couple years with average mileage would be around $16-18K...

Follow up to the Excursion ... When they announce the discontinuation of the Excursion they hinted they would offer a long wheelbase Expedition.
