Would I need to activate a new iphone4 or just plop my SIM card in there and be good to go?

The iphone4 uses a micro sim card, so you have call at&t to activate or do it via the web

 

I bought mine at an Apple store and they did everything there. I do know that they used a new SIM card for my iPhone4 so activation is definitely required.

 

damn i currently have the 3g 16gb. might need to look into sellin ine and gettin the 4

 

I was forced to buy the iPhone 4 (was waiting for the White one!) and I sold my iPhone 3GS in 3 minutes on eBay for Buy It Now $275. But, I refunded the guy's money back and going to put it up in a week or so and ask for more since some are going for close to $400.

 

where did you all get yours 4g's and for how much??

I upgraded/renewed my contract and paid $199 for mine.

 

ive got a whole nother year before i can do that....

 

Put my 3GS up on eBay for $200 bid, $400 buy it now at 10am this morning, sold for $400 at 5pm this evening. Looks like the wife just got the new iPhone 4.

BigTruckGuy, if it's not time for you to upgrade, you just gotta pay $400 to upgrade, not $600..

Big, I had to buy the iPhone 4 which was $200 since I was able to upgrade, and gave the wife my iPhone 3GS since her's got stolen and then we decided to sell it for $400 on eBay to pay for her iPhone 4.

 

where did u buy her 4 for $400 though??
