Tom Tom Go 720 GPS
Tom Tom Go 720 GPS
I'm upgrading to in-dash DVD Nav so I'm selling my Tom Tom Go 720 GPS. This is a great unit. Has 4.3" screen, can be programmed with various icons and even celebrity voices. Using the computer dock you can upload personal photos and mP3 music files. It also has bluetooth compatibility with a wide variety of phones so you can dial thru the Tom tom and use it for hands-free calling. It is quick to calculate routes - maps can be updated via downloads, gives vocal turn by turn directions, has searchable data base to find restaurants, gas stations, hotels, rest stops, airports, and more; an amazing little package.
This unit has a small 1/4 - 1/2 inch scratch on the screen (see photo) that in no way compromises its operations or looks. It's invisible when the unit is in operation. It will come to you complete with the software disk (includes user manual), printed quick start-up guide, USB computer dock, 12v power cord/charger, suction cup mount and sticky-back dash mount. (I'm using that one so you'll need to replace the 3M double sided tape.)
This was a $500 unit when new. In great shape, excellent working order. I'm asking $150 shipped.
NOTE: In response to earlier question the maps are version 705.1481 which TomTom technical support tells me are about 1 year old. Upgrades are available @ $110 for entire US & Canada. Various US Regions are available @ $69.95. While I will include the original software CD of TomTom Home, there is a newer version available for FREE download on the TomTom website. I've navigated from my home in LA to Quebec, Canada; IL, NM, TX, SC and many, many states in between with no difficulty.

If memory serves me correctly I purchased the unit from Radio Shack in Spring of '07 (April or May I think). It has the original maps from the date of sale so I'd say 2007. I'll confirm that tomorrow and post again. The first update that I am aware of was only recently issued (last couple of months) and I have not purchased updated maps as I knew I was planing to sell it.
