FM - Based CD Player
My wife just sold her mini-van, and the new one comes with an in-dash cd player. I installed a 6-disc changer in the old van for her, but it runs on an FM signal. I have a 1998 F250XL, and I was wondering if anyone knew whether the stock AM/FM Casssette deck could be direct-wired to the changer, or if I have to use the FM signal again.

You may want to try this post in the audio forum, but from what I've seen hooking up an aftermarket CD player to the Ford deck is just about impossible. FM signal, yes; but to use the deck buttons direct for controls, no.
