replace brake light (how)

Hello,

Recently my rear passenger brake light and turn indicator stopped working. In fact inside the cab I am getting a "fast blink". I don't think it's electrical becuase my front indicator and the mirror light is still working.

So, I'm lead to belive that it's simply a light that's out.

However with that said. How does one get to the light? I looked at it today and could find noway to. Is this something that I have to take to ford and pay an arm and a leg to fix?

Thanks
David

Open tailgate. Remove screw(s). Remove light. Remove harness with bulb. Remove bulb. Replace bulb. Put it back together.

The whole process should be in the owner's manual is you need photos to go along with it.

Thanks. I think I see where you are referring to. I'll give it a try this weekend.

The hardest part of the job should be finding the 10mm socket to take the screws out. (I think it was a 10... don't quote me on that!)

Like they said... piece of cake.
