Stuttering Power Driver Window

The power window on the driverside of my 97 F-150 Regular Cab stutters when it goes down. It is much smoother going up as there is only slight hesitation when it goes up. Anyone with some ideas before I get hammered by my dealer for a $75 diagnosis fee?

take your door skin off and grease the window track...and look for anything loose, thats what they are going to do!

If they actually charge a $75 diag fee, find a new dealer.

But, like was said above. Open up the door and clean the tracks, then re-grease. Should fix the problem.
