Dome Light Wiring for Keyless Entry?

Does anyone know which wire you tap into to use the timed dome light option when installing a keyless entry? I've successfully installed the keyless entry and horn-chirp option (required a relay), but I can't figure out which wire from the truck you hook up to the relay for this other option. The crimestopper website allows you to log on one time to get the applicable wire locations, but the one they said doesn't seem to work. They say to use the Blue/Black wire under the driver's kick panel. The only black/blue wire under there is not powered and doesn't work when I wire it into the relay. This is for a '97 XLT without factory keyless entry. Thanks for any help.

Thanks. The website for the keyless entry said it was under the driver's kick panel. From what you're saying, it's on the passenger side and I need to use the Blue/Black wire on the Black connector. I'll give it a try.

I tried the blue/black wire on the black plug hooked up to a relay, but it didn't work and blew the fuse. Any ideas?
