disconnected battery

my truck is put away for the winter and I disconnected the battery, I know they say in the manual there is a start up procedure for when I reinstall the battery, supposedly the computer has to relearn it's idle. Does anyone know if there is a limit to how long you can discnnect the battery, example.....there are no built in batteries that are computer related that can run down over long periods of time is there?

There are no hidden batteries like in a PC. The computer will hold it's program without the battery. When you reinstall the battery all should be well.
