My remote stopped working about 2 weeks ago for my 99 F150 and I took the liberty of borrowing my mother's remote from her 2002 Expy to test and see if her remote would work. I was successful in programming her remote to my truck but now when a button is pressed both the expy and the truck unlock. My remote is broken so is there any other way to unprogram the expy's remote from my truck? Thanks...

 

Yes. Enter the programming mode, then exit the mode without programming any remotes. THat will erase all remotes.

Actually, if you are interested, I have a couple extra remotes in the closet. I bought too many on eBay. If you want them, I will sell two of them for $15.00 plus $3.00 shipping.

You're right - that won't work. Disconnecting the battery will not do it either. Am pretty sure you have your delaer do it with a diagnostic tool - or just put up with it until you get a new transmitter.....
