Too Many Wires!!

I have a ton of electronics hooked up directly to my truck battery. This includes my MSD ignition, 7 KC Daylighters, Tachometer, etc. I was just going to add a couple more lights on my truck, and I was thinking.....There's got to be a better way to wire all this. I have way too many wires connected directly to the positive terminal of my battery. Does anyone here have a better idea on how to power all these systems? Thanks!!!

Connect an auxillary fuse panel and fuse each of the wires. Automotive store should have a wide selection of them to choose from. Having them off the battery and separated in a panel is much safer. I reccomend bolting the aux. panel to the lead line on the main power box rather than to the battery. Keeping the battery clean and clear is a good idea.

Thumbs up The Power Distribution Terminal (PDT)

Hi,
There is a nice article in "Tech Articles" section called something like "So you want to add some electrical accessories...".
The continuation if it is here

You might want to check PDT...
That's what I've done.
Alex.

there is no need to connect to the battery . Just to the right of the battery on the firewall is the power block . You can attach there without any problems . Remember to fuse everything .
