Fog Lights

I have a 2000 F150 Lariat ExCab 4x4. It has the factory fog lights on it. They bascially don't help much. Does anyone know if I can get a different bulb to stick in there for better results. They only shine about 30 feet in front of me.

I'm while I asking can I do the same with the headlights? I've heard of a wiring harness that will allow low beams to stay on with the high beams. I know if I do it manually with the turn signal switch, it really helps. But I can't hold the switch back all the time. Does that harness fry any wires because of getting hot?

Check out the technical articles. There is a lot of good stuff regarding fog install/upgrade/mods. As for adding higher wattage bulbs, I've seen some damage occur to lenses/housings/wiring harnesses; so be careful on how high you go.
