Buy the Haynes manual, it walks you through it step by step. What it doesn't tell you is that the lights twist out. It's really an easy fix, only takes about an hour to replace them all.

(1)remove the light switch assembly and remove dash screw
(2) pry off the lower dash cover around the lower steering collar.
(3) remove black srcews holding in dash panels and cluster 3 are facing upward on on the trim around the cluster.

(4) put the truck in drive1 to gain clearance ness. for removal of cluster trim and cluster

(5) remove 3 modular connectors on dash and change your lights

what about bulb#'s

Can anyone inform me of what bulb#'s and how many of each are used behind the instruments on a 97 F150? I have one out and would like to know the bulb3's and stuff before I tear it apart. What are they 194's, 168's or the real small ones? Thanks.

They are 194s. There's 5 of them for the instrument lighting, I know...just replaced one today... what a bitch.

And yes, my 1998 supercab rear window leaks too...bummer.
