If I accidently (or on purpose) press the "Panic" button, the horns & lights go into action but if I press it again it only occaissionlly works to shut things down. It's annoying to have to get in the truck and turn the key to the On position to turn things off. Can this be disabled by myself or a dealer? I like being able to lock and unlock the doors remotely but I could live without that. I've tried new batteries and the result is the same. Today I sat in the truck and went through several cycles of pressing the button. Same result; always starts the process but doesn't always stop it.

 

from what i read the button needs to be pressed in between honk's of the horn. you might try that. not sure on the dissableing of it. good luck.
