are you sure the motor is not running, its common for the screen to plug up. at the pump. i want to say that if the wipers come on and work for about 4 or 5 time then shut off. then the sw is working. find the pump on the bottom of the resv. and have someone push the button. while you feel the motor. if it is running. then pull it out. and then the black seal it fits into. and clean the goo off of it. i find that most of the time that is the prob. good luck.

I have had this problem twice on my '97 both times Ford replaced the turn signal arm, they said it was a common problem.

I have always had problems with the washer button and have heard the same thing, that there has been a problem. I guess like other things with these trucks Ford is going to do nothing. I have to turn my wipers on for a cycle then the washer seems to work better.
