My air bag light flashed 5 times then 2 times then stays on. I have been told this means the battery signal was lost to the system. I have replaced the battery and ground cable but the light still flashes and stays on. Is there a way to reset this without having to take it to ford. Pleas help

 

I looked this up in a book for a guy that emailed me, and it looks like to me that it has to be cleared by NGS or WDS. Older airbag systems (before data link) had a 2 pin jumper that you could short for 5 sec. after a flashout cycle to clear them, but i looked high and low in the F150 evtm's and it looks like its data link only.
