Window rolling up noise

My driver side window makes a clicking/rubbing noise when I roll it up or down. I have power windows. It still works great just the annoying noise that it makes I am afraid it will stop working. Any ideas would be appreciated. Note I have the door “Crack”.

The rivets holding the regulator are probably loose. My brother just replaced them on his 98 w/power windows.

Where is the regulator? Is it hard to get to?

Did your brother do the work himself or did the dealer do it?

He did it himself. He pulled the interior door panels off. The regulator mounts behind the interior sheet metal bracing. He bought the rivets from a local Ford dealer and used a decent quality riveting tool.
