I have a 2000 F150. I have problems with the factory wired trailer plug in. The wires from my boat trailer (not all that heavy) cause the plug from my trailer to pull down and I am not getting a good connection. Does anyone make an after market trailer kit like the ones used before 1997? I want to "T" into the wires and run an old fashioned plug to the boat.

go to meijer or wallmart they have trailer plugs that u could use. its a kit that plugs into the factory wiring, or find a trailer place. same thing happend to my 2000 4x4 ranger
