LED tail light bulbs and blinker problems

I recently put LED tail light bulbs in my truck and now the blinker goes really fast as if there is no bulb in there at all. I really like the look of the LED lights but the fast blinker gets on my nerves. I am thinking that i might need to put a new relay in or something.

Maybe you can do some good with a replacement electronic flasher unit, but on our bikes, most Valk owners have had t splice in resistors into the circuit to defeat the fast blink.

See about 2/3 tp 3/4 down this page for info.

Just a heads up on the LED bulbs in question here, make sure you are not trying to use GM bulbs, they are different from the Ford bulbs that they make for our trucks.

The circuitry is different and that will cause this LIGHTNING quick flash(er).

Where you get these bulbs? You might try to email Steve @ sales@mrtaillight.com. He is an APC dealer and I believe they offer an LED bulb for Ford lights.

Have a good one!
