I have a 98 F150 and he door unlock button does not work on the passenger or drivers side door. This button will lock the doors just not unlock. I do not hear it making any sounds in the door at all. anyone have this problem?

 

It is the first I herad of it have you checked your fuses I don't think both door switches would fail at the same time.

 

Yes I have checked this. One of my friends seems to think it might be the relay in the dash. I will post the solution.

 

Well I took it to the dealership, checked it in, and when they got to it the thing worked. I messed with it for three days and nothing. But as soon as I get ready to put some money down on it . Poof it is healed. I told the guy he needs to go on the road with those magical hands.:rolleyes

 

Well the unlock button is stuck again. But I do have some good news i hit the lock button about 15 times and then it would unlock again ... I don't know?
