Question turn isgnal flasher

installed trailer hitch lighting systemon 1984 F350 chassis on motor home. Turn sigs flash fast. It was recommened that change in flasher will solve the problem. What is the right flasher? Where under the dash is the flasher located and how do you get to it? We can hear it, but cant see it to remove and replace

My component locaters usually don't cover anything bigger than pickups but from years of experience and the fact that you can hear it I would expect it to be near or on the column bracket. Sometimes I've seen the 4-way on one side of the fuse panel and the flasher on the other side. Normally it is on a metal bracket which allows it to be heard easier.
