Unhappy electrical problems

Please help, I'm have a heck of a time with my truck. The back light won't turn off, and it keeps running my battery down. I have to disconnect my battery to shut it off. The insde door lights stay on and so does the inside cab light. I have looked in my Chilton and it is no help.

Also could somebody please tell me were the stupid horn is located. I did some four-bying a couple of summers ago and since then it quit. I think it must have gotten some water or dirt into it. I want to replace it but I don't even know where to start looking. I know it's got to be towards the front of the truck, by the radiator, but I can't find the stupid thing.

Year, make , model would help. I'll make a guess and say you have a 97 or newer? If so you need to spray some electrical contact cleaner in the door latch assembly. The door pin switches that used to be visable are now located inside the door on the latch. They get dirty. Spray a lot and work the latch a lot. It usually helps. Look under headlights and behind bumper for horns.

I'm with nitro........SOAK the door, inside the keyhole, anywhere you can get inside the lock and handle mechanism, I can assure you this WILL fix your problem, I'd say 5 out of 10 FORD truck owners face the same problem you do.

The horns are located on the passenger front side of the truck, behind the bumper. They may be hiding behind some plastic covering.........but they are there.
