Ford blinkers suck

This isn't really an electrical issue, but I couldn't think of a better place to post this quetsion. Does anyone else find that the blinkers in their truck suck? Mine are very picky, and will not stay engaged if the wheel is just a bit off center. I constantly find my self having to re-engage them multiple times depending on the circumstances of the turn. It's annoying, and it really shouldn't be that hard to get them right. Is this just my truck?

NOPE! Not just your truck. I have noticed the same thing. I have gotten use to it, so it doesn't really annoy me too much. But there is always that time when I have the wheel turned a bit and I need the signal on and it keeps going off or I am not able to engage it. Sometimes it almost feels as though I am going to break it.

Now that you mention it, it really is a pain in the a$$.

Thumbs up

I LOVE IT!

I only wish EVERY vehicle worked this way.

The signal is a turn 'indicator'.

Indicator = 1)to be a sign of(things to come), 2)imply

If the damn vehicle is already turning, don't even bother.

(I know you are talking about being in a curve and needing to turn from that curve and the blinker won't stay on)

That happens to me too but, all the time I see people putting there blinker on after it's obvious what their doing.
But, I never see a (newer)Ford do it, not because they are better drivers but, because the blinker won't stay on by itself if you've already started working the wheel.
