Problems w/ Cruise Control 97 f150
I have a 97 Ford f150 that was hit in the front end and I rebuilt it. The air bag blew and caused the cruise control not to work. I replaced the clock spring mechanism thinking that it might correct the problem, but no such luck. I was checking the fuses and several of them were not blown, but not causing a test light to light up. Also, going down the fuse box I have two of the large relays, then a space, then the last one. A friend of mine has an Expedition and has all four. Maybe this realy has something to do with the cruise. I don't have an owners manual so I don't know what the fuses are. If any one has ANY information it would be gladly appricated.

no cruise
Brandon check out the fuse #1+2 in the fusebox in the cab also the #15 those control the brake to disengauge the cruise also outside under the hood in the power fusebox the #5 is the horn and that is what gives you the power to the cruise on button and ther is a horn relay in that box as well which the power passes through to the cruise on button. i think that will fix you up. good luck gary
a different problem with cruise
If I turn my cruise on, it will accelerate past the point I set the cruise at when I'm either going up or down hills. Then after a certain point, I hear a clicking sound from the brake pedal area and it starts deacelerating. What is wrong and can I fix it without going to the dealer? I have a '97
