Fuse #13 blowing
1999 F-150 Lariat, Fuse #13 blows intermittently.
This fuse is tied to speed control module (cruise control ??), turn signals and brake lights. Been to dealer twice and they cannot find problem. I have pulled all light covers and do not see a short. We stopped using cruise control for two weeks, but the problem only seems to appear when using left turn-signal. Does anyone know how to remove mirror covers so I can check the wiring. Also, I probably need to pull apart the trailer light connection, even though it is never used.
Thanks.

I know this is an old post... and I see no one had any info at the time... but I am having the same issue.
1999 Ford F150 XTL 4.2 2 wheel drive.
I am blowing Fuse #13 only with the Left turn signal AND if the drivers door is closed. It works fine with the door open. I have replaced the Relay, MFS, disconnected the CC (which had the recall done many years ago).
The Brakes do not blow the fuse, nor the right turn signal, the left wont blow it till I close the Drivers door.
Any Ideas?
