Just installed AUTOPAGE keyless entry system!!
Finally, after two grueling days, I got my keyless entry installed. The reason it took me so long was that the instuctions told me to use the 12+V current supplied by the keyless unit to power my relays, where after taking and unwrapping and re-wiring THREE TIMES!!!, I went to Alta Mere and the guy told me to use the trucks 12+V constant current. So I did, and IT WORKED!!
I love my keyless entry! I hooked up the horn so it honks when you lock\unlock the doors and press the panic button, but have not yet decided if I want to hook up the lights. That brown wire is pretty hard to get to, but I might try it later on.
Anyways, I like my Autopage, and BTW, it has great range on the transmitter!! GREAT RANGE!!
Just this week, I've installed new spark plugs, spark plug wires(8.5mm), and a keyless entry system! I'm on spring break so I've got time! My next upgrade this week will probably be just some snap-on window ventvisors. That will top it off nicely!
