Bed Lights & POwer Outlet
Bed Lights & Power Outlet
I plan on installing a Bed light to come on when the Toneau cover is raised. I'll run from the fuse panel to the rear following the existing wire harness with a new harness. I want to hook into a blank area on the fuse block and add a fuse for this, but don't know how to go about this or what I'll need to hook ito the fuse panel.

Don't F up your fuse box or wires

I ran 14 gauge wire from my battery up to the firewall my truck had several Ground wires removed one placed the wire behind the fuse holder and tightened back to fire wall (NAPA Belden ATC Fuse Holder Mountable/Weather Proof PN 784623)
NAPA is an Auto parts Chain around here But Belden is the Suppler of the fuse holder very nice.
Run the other end to dome lamp or switch that will be used.
Put the 20 amp Fuse in last.
Don't Forget to Ground the Bed lamps ground to the bed
Did this on my shell
