Question What about high-beams with fogs?

Does this mod work so that if you wanted to use your high beams, you can still use your fog lamps?

It works great. I did the mod you describe, but not the one where you can use fog lights with parking lights, just fogs/high beams. To accomplish this, do not do the mechanical portion of the mod, unless you want fogs/parking lights. To get fogs/high beams, only the electrical portion is required, i.e. splicing the two wires together. I did this and it works great!

Please keep in mind that the mod you are asking about is quite illegal in most jurisdictions.

Most areas limit forward facing lights to 4. High beams are still counted as 4 (even though there are only two lamps)

High beams with fogs counts as 6 and a cop can and will ticket you.

Just a warning.
