Sylvania Xenarc

I was reading on Sylvania's website about Silverstar and noticed info about their HID lighting. Thru further clicks I noticed it was possible to buy an HID replacement kit for newer F150s. Has anyone done this? The cost was $900 but I was thinking it may be worth it if the light is that much better.

I have done this. And by the way, you can get them for $799 from www.autobarn.com. They are really that much better. I have a couple pictures in my gallery.

Thanks for the reponse. I will look at them. At that cost I just didn't want to be the first.

Xenon question

Do your xenarc lights look as good or better than the new lexus and mercedes stock xenon lights? Thats a high price tag, but I think if they are as good as they sound they would be worth it. Also, are you planning on getting the fog lights, those look pretty sweet too. What was the final cost w/ s&h included to get the xenarc lights delivered to your door. Where they hard to install?

They look just like the ones the luxury cars have. No contest between the fake hiper bulbs and these. I have been very happy with them. Fairly easy to install. Don't plan on getting the fog lights, as they are not straightforward to install. They cannot be integrated into the factory wiring, so I will live with the factory fogs. $799 plus free shipping from autobarn. Once in awhile they have coupons. I got mine for $750.
