Door ajar

Well, I tried to lube my switches but it still acts up. I suspect it's in the relay, not the switches in the door cause when I shut the door the the ding dong goes away instantly - so that would tell me the switches are fine. At anyrate the light and the door ajar light stays on for about a minute or so then goes out and all is good. I'm wondering now if anyone knows anything about the door ajar/dome light relay and its location and cost. Any insight would be appreciated...

The same problem with the door ajar light staying on just started happening to me this week. The interior lights stay on for about a minute or more.

If I drive, the interior lights will go out, but the door ajar light stays on. I checked the fuse, I am not sure where I can grease or oil a switch.
Sorry that I cannot help yet, I have the same problem though.

I read the other posts which mentioned road salt and humidity as a possible cause. The problem happened after a trip to Vermont and upstate NY. So the truck had salt all over it. After two washings, the problem has stopped. When the weather warms up a little I will try the spray of WD40 for good measure at each door. Thanks
