Can anybody tell me which wire to cut, or how to disable the seat belt chime? Its driving me nuts! There are lots of times when I want the engine running, ( to run the heater, aircon or demister) but I dont want the belt on. In addition, there are lots of times when I just dont want to put the damn thing on!!!!!

Just disconnect the safety belt connector (2 wire connector C304).
The seat belt switch is open with it buckled so if you disconnect it the system sees it as buckled.

 

or, just push in the orange seatbelt release button. it will disable the chime until the next engine startup

OR

Wear you seatbelt..

 

Or you could just read the owners manual and follow the instructions on disabling the chime.......that's what I did
