Question Aiming off-road lights?

Got a pair of 100 watt 6" round KC knockoffs. Somehow managed to lose the instructions, which included the aiming measurements. The lights are mounted on top of my bumper, about 18" apart, centered in front of the grill. I'd like to be able to fan the beams away from center a bit, but I need to know how high to center the beams for maximum effectiveness off-road. Say the bumper is 10' from the garage door, where would the center of the beam need to be in relation to the lights themselves? 1" low, 2"?

Thanks in advance

Barrett

Personally, I think the best way is to find a dark road in the middle of the night and adjust the beam the way you want. Leave the headlamps off to get the best results.

That's exactly what I did with my KC's. Went to a dark back road, shut off the headlights and aimed. I could see to the end of any road. I think you'll find this works best.

PIAA says to aim them from 20 ft away. I used the stock high beams as a guide and adjusted from there

I parked 20ft from a garage door, turned my headlights on, then aimed the offroad lights slightly above the headlights. I've never been offroading at night but it works great for lighting up back roads when there's no other traffic.
