Brake indicator ?
Brake indicator ?
Several months back my Seatbelt light and chime quit working, even when the ignition is first turned on the bulb does not illumunate. No big deal I've allways found them to be annoying and I buckle up regardless.
Next the dashlights behind my oil press. and voltage guages went out, I'm assuming a burnt bulb or two.
Recently my brake indicator is becoming very spiratic. It rarely lights with the ignition or application of the park brake. Could this be a short at the bulb or a bad sensor at the pedal?
Fluid is topped off.
ABS light lights at ignition on and when activated.
I'm wondering if these probs might be related or coincidence.
Any body have similar experience? Or input on remedies for any of the three problems?
Thanks in advance!!

my parking brake does the same thing. I think it is a bad contact or loose wire somewhere.
I think this because we have daytime running lamps in Canada and they shut off when the parking brake is applied (even with engine running). If I hold the brake release pulled out and push the park brake pedal in and out a couple of times... the lights go out and the dash "brake" light comes on.
