seatbelt buzzer

Without putting my seatbelt on ,, how can i disable that dinging noise so that it won't keep buzing at me until i put the belt on ,,,,cause most of the time i'm only in the truck for short periods of time , so i don't even bother to put my belt ,,,,,,,but then that chime starts again.

Hugs,

Check your manual....the instructions are in there. You can adjust it so that it only dings when you first start the truck but not every 2 minutes.

Don't know what year your truck is, but on the 2002, if you press the driver seat belt release button when the bell is dinging (not during initial start-up, but at the first warning (or later) after that), that will stop it from going off every few minutes (until you turn off the truck and start up again). Can't remember the more permanent method, but your friend's manual will tell you.

Cheers
