Question Fuse that controls odometer

A friend of mine has a 2001 xlt 4X4 and one of his fuses has blown out cause his odometer isn't working and the spedometer isn't working either. I was wondering if anyone knew wich fuse is responsible for that and if having it out will affect any other componant of the truck????? And is there a event logg of some sort that Ford can say , hey you've been driving your truck around and put 15000 miles on it yet the odometer never picked it up!!!

I'd imagine it would be the one that's blown when you check out the fuse block.

Replace the blown fuse and see if it fixes all three problems. If not, take it to the dealer, it's still under warranty!

I'm a little confused, in your first post you said the problem was in a friends truck, but in all the subsequent posts it sounds like it's your vehicle.

Your not trying to fudge the miles on your truck are you?

Yeah i checked that out ,,,,,,i changed it , but it blew out not more then 5 minutes later ,,,,,,,called the dealership and said it could be a short with one of the modules ,,,,,and since it went out while the truck was on ,,,,,,it could , have screwed something else out.
Thaks for the tips

Do you always bring a thread back that's been dead for 22 years?
