Has anyone tried white LED bulbs in stock tail lights? Brighter, faster, any pattern? Just wondering if they would be worth to try. Thanks

 

J, I know they have recently come out with white LED's but they would be VERY expensive. The alternative that I have seen in heavy equipment and caddies, and many third brake lights, are red and orange/yellow LED's. If you do find some, please post the source as I would be interested. They're basically waterproof, don't generate much heat and would practically never have to be replaced.
