3rd brake light bulb

I just found out at lunch from a friend that my 3rd brake light is out. Does anyone know what the bulb # is? Also, is there any trick in replacing the bulb or do I just have to take the screws out of the cover?

Thanks,
Steve

Yes, all you have to do is remove the screws and twist out the connector from the lens and replace the bulb. Look in your owners manual for the bulb #.

I'm glad your doing the right thing as I see alot of new trucks and they fix theres buy taking the bulbs out so there 3rd light wont come on when they hit the brakes. I wish that the law could enfoce them to have there 3rd brake light working as they put them on for safety reasons.
