I just put in a 10 CD changer and when I plugged the new antenna lead that was supplied in the kit into the radio, the radio stopped about 1/4 inch from going back in all the way. It took about an hour of brain bashing to figure out that the new plug was straight and the OEM plug was a 90 degree. I shaved some of the hard plastic off of the new plug so it would bend and slid it in. Also, I used a extra heavy cloths hanger that I bent into a U shape to get the radio out and it worked fine.

 

I recall a right angle antenna connection from many years ago, You may want to check it out at Radio Shack. ennis
