Question automatic headlights on/off

automatic headlights on/off
Is there a way to turn this feature off? My F-150 Lariat has the feature where the lights will stay on and automatically turn off after 30-seconds to 3 minutes depending on the setting.

And the lights will automatically turn-on if the environment is too dark? I would like to control when I turn my lights on and off.

It depends on the year of your truck but generally there are a pair of thumbwheels next to the headlight switch. The leftmost thumbwheel is the dash dimmer and interior light control. The one to the right is the one that controls the autolamp feature. Just turn it off.

Mine has the wheel, I leave them turned off all the time, unless I plan on having someone else drive, that way they don't have to mess with it. Mine is a 97, I don't know if they changed it later or not. Mine is right nest to the interior light / dimmer wheel.
