How can I find out what kind of computer I have in my F150? I can't find anything in Chiltons and I don't see anything resembling a computer in my truck?
I have a 1995 F150 4.9l I6 with a 5-speed manual transmission. Thanks

TYPE OF COMPUTER???
Where is the computer located? Under the dash or under the hood? If its under the dash, the Ford number will be on the computer plastic connector that connects to the wiring harness.
That will be an OBDI computer. If its under the hood, and in what lookes like a finned aluminum container, thats OBDII. Don't know what your specifically looking for, hope some of the above helps.
