Question Alternator Size

I am sure this has been asked, but I could not find it anywhere.

Is there an easy way to tell what size alternator I have? I think there was a 90 and a 130 amp alternator put in these trucks.

I have a 97 extended cab 2wd built in early 96. It appears to have the factory towing package as it has a Ford 7way connector on the rear and the brake harness under the dash

Thanks!

You should have the 130 amp alterntor. One way to tell is that the alternator charge wire will be about as large as the wire running to the starter motor... about 00 gauge.
